Anyone ever dealt with JDL? Anyone? They make exhausts for Audi's V10 and V8s, and other random Japanese and European cars. Also they do turbocharging stuff and many other things, so I feel like they know what they are doing. So I think their quality is pretty top notch, plus lifetime warrenty!

Flex piping. They don't look like that anymore. Here is what they look like.

I detest flex pipe. It's just a weak point for leaks. I bought a grimspeed up pipe for my old wrx that came out of the box leaking.

Interesting. Both my Perrin catback and these headers have these flex pipes. Both also come with a lifetime warranty. So if anything does leak, I can just get it replaced!

Nice to have but still means that you've got to uninstall it and wait for them to inspect it and send you a new one, unless of course they give you the benefit of the doubt and send you a new one first.
I replaced the flex pipe with an Invidia hard pipe and never had another problem. Prob still have the grimspeed piece sitting around somewhere.
To me words like "flex" and "adjustable" just mean that the manufacturer doesn't trust their fitment or quality control enough. That's a generalization of course.

I really hope this doesn't happen. Perrin makes some quality stuff, so I don't think their piping should have problems(hopefully). I know Borla made some headers and the problem was the flex tubing was rattling, so I am staying away from them.

Why the two O2 bungs before the catalytic converter?

Well, there is supposed to be a catalytic converter there. . .
Here is to hoping to pass emissions!
